A Bright Future
Do you ever long for a more peaceful world, where violence and destruction do not exist? That’s what the verses above are saying will come to pass. There is a time coming when the Prince of Peace, the Lord Jesus Christ will reign Supreme.
Today, we human beings keep looking for a perfect leader. There is one, but too few seem to think He is relevant to rule their personal lives. But Jesus is not only relevant, He is coming again to establish His rule over the world. We call this coming rule, “The Kingdom Age”. It is also called “The Millennium”, as it is a special rule lasting one-thousand years (Revelation 20:4), It occurs before the Eternal Age comes in. The rule of Christ for this one-thousand year period will prove that there is only One perfect Ruler. The failures of every previous ruler will not be repeated under the righteous rule of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We humans do not have the attributes of complete and perfect knowledge, and power. Without those attributes, we always seem to fall short of the ability to get the job done. Christ does possess these attributes, plus many more. He is the Perfect Man, and the true God.
After the Millennial reign of Christ, He will turn over all things to the Father, so that the triune God shall reign together throughout all eternity.
This is a bright future that every Christian can look forward to.
